The PowerView™ technology also provides the basis for our Comgate™ product.  Comgate™ enables traditional telephony and cable providers, as well deregulated utility providers the ability to transmit over a single wiring system telephone, data and video communications to a large number of users on a cost-effective basis. Comgate™ is a cost effective alternative to traditional narrowband data transmissions models because it enables the two-way flow of information upon single RF channel. By contrast, current narrowband technology allows for only one-way data flow. Recent merger activities in the telephony and cable industries, for example the merger of telephony giant AT&T and cable giant TCI, have accelerated the phase-out of existing copper wire infrastructures and the increase in the use of coaxial cable, which is the optimal infrastructure for the Company’s Comgate™ technology. As a direct result, we are well positioned to offer telephony, cable and utility providers the capability to offer local telephone service, long distance service, cable and interactive data exchange services through our Comgate™ product. Comgate™ 2000 is available either as a stand alone product or as a companion to its PowerView™ product.
